The project aims to visualize the problems generated by facial recognition, comparing reality to the one generated by George Orwell in the 1984 book with Big Brother who controls everything. The empirical study allowed us to discover which parts of the face should be covered to avoid face recognition (with the use of Snapchat).
In order to generate a fully-customized and elegant complement that avoids detection, a 3D scanner was used. The final prototype was printed in UV reactive filament that reacts to the sunlight to add even further customization.
All in all, Voronoi is a complement/jewel that allows the user to go unnoticed in front of the cameras and it does it elegantly and dynamically.
